Richard Murphy Architects
Edinburgh based practice established in 1991. They have accumulated more than 14 RIBA awards.
The practice had in place an extensive website featuring over 80 projects, 500 images and a wealth of additional information. The brief for the re-design was to transfer existing material into a content management system and to present the information through new templates based on a complete re-branding by Dave Morris of Richard Murphy Architects.
The site was implemented in PHP, XHTML, CSS and javascript. Where javascript was used a fall-back method for older browsers was implemented. Existing URLs were redirected to the new cleaner layout without breaking inbound links.
The clients are extremely pleased with the product and work continues refining its operation.
