New office, new website and now… business cards!
Shortly after receiving them, I went to ebay looking for a small plastic case to keep them flat in my coat pocket. Meaning to bid £0.87, I accidentally bid £87 on this card holder. The bid shot up to £72, £81, then £87! With less than a minute of the auction to go, I was desperately trying to withdraw my bid. I failed. The auction ended.

I checked the auction again, and was amazed to see someone else had out-bid me in the last 30 seconds, paying £89. I was off the hook. Someone had clearly sniped the auction, and had made the same mistake as me - entering presumably £100 instead of £1.00.
There’s a lesson to be learned here.
